Return Policy
Returning Textbooks
Textbooks must be returned with an original receipt in unmarked, resalable condition within 4 calendar days of the start of the semester or receipt date. Books purchased used can also be returned within 4 calendar days. Summer, Winterim and short session classes have 1 day to return books.
Books packaged with other items must be returned complete. Receipt will reflect the number of items included in the package. Some specially marked textbooks and software are non-returnable.
For returns made on debit cards, please note it may take 3-5 days for the refund to be reflected on your account depending on your bank's policy.
Publisher defective books are returnable for an exact exchange at anytime.
Dropped or Withdrawn Classes
Dropped class book refunds will follow the University's dropped course deadlines. Please see pages 4 and 5 of the Schedule of Classes booklet. The Bookstore must verify withdrawal or dropped class on the WINS system to receive refund.
Technology and Course Packets
Products must be in their original, unopened packaging to be returned. Items follow the same return period as textbooks and must have receipt.
Calculators and Electronics
30 Days with original, unopened packaging along with receipt. 14 Days for opened, factory defective products with receipt.
Clothing and Gift Items
90 Days for refund or exchange. Must have receipt and tags for refund. Size exchanges can be accepted without receipt.
