Bookstore FAQ & Custom Shop FAQ

Can I get my books shipped? Can I include my purchase books?

Yes! Textbook Rental offers a convenient shipping option to all of our students.

You can either enter your classes manually on our website to order your books by clicking here or you can go to your WINS account and follow this path to have your books preloaded into your cart: Login to WINS Account - Click Classes & Schedules > View My Classes/Schedule > View Purchase/Course Books.

Can I ship my books back at the end of the semester?

Yes! We recommend telling the postal company you want to ship them under the "Media Mail" option. This will help you save money on shipping costs. As long as they are postmarked by the due date you will not receive any late fees. Our address is 780 W. Starin Rd. Whitewater, WI 53190.

If I’m a freshman when can I get my books?

Freshmen that are first semester students and living in the residence halls will have their books pulled and boxed for them.
You can pick up your textbooks either during "drop only", New Student Night (occurs after you move-in and you will walk down with your RA and floor), or you can stop in-store during regular hours.
All they need to do is visit Textbook Services (located on the lower level in The Bookstore) and pick up their books.
You will need to bring your student ID every time you are checking out your books. Second semester of your freshman year, you will need to pick-up or order your books online.

If I’m an upperclassman when can I get my books?

Students are able to come in-store or order online up to 4 weeks before the term begins.

How/when do I sell back my purchase books for book buyback?

Book Buyback occurs the last two weeks of every spring and fall semester. Stop in The Bookstore during that time at the front desk to sell your purchase books back to us. We will buy them if they are being used again next semester.

When is the Bookstore open?

Regular semester hours for The Bookstore & Textbook Services: M-Th 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-4:15pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. Regular break hours for The Bookstore & Textbook Services: M-F 8am-4:15pm


Bookstore Custom Shop FAQ

Can I order just one piece of apparel?

Yes! We don't have any minimums on orders.

Does an order have to be school related?

No. It can be whatever you want (as long as its appropriate).

What is the lead time on an order?

Lead times can vary depending on complexity i.e shipping, quantities, special requests, design needs. Generally its 2-3 weeks, however if we can do it sooner we will let you know.

Are you hiring?

We usually hire each semester, keep an eye on handshake. Or e-mail your application to bookstore@uww.edu and we will be in contact.

If I have an idea for a design but need help creating it what do I do?

We have an artist on staff that can help with that! When you place your order check the "Need Design Made" box and we will contact you on how to proceed.

What are your printing capabilities?

We offer standard or premium options of apparel and decoration. Order Here for More Information
